“I LOVE this flashlight. Now, I never lose things under the car seat, the sofa, the bed, etc. I got two, so if I lose one, I have the other so that I can find the lost one, lol! The flexible neck has helped me find items lost under the carousel in my kitchen cabinet, and missing items in my dark closet, etc. I appreciate the bottom magnet, as I have an end table with metal on it so one of the pair is always handy.” — Linda Callahan
“I bought this for myself as I sew and pins drop onto the carpet, making it hard to find the pins. Surprisingly the magnet on one end of the flashlight is quite strong. Even my husband was amazed at the magnetic strength. The flashight is quite bright and has a wide scope to cover a larger distance (if that makes sense). The wand telescopes making it easier when needing to pick up any kind of metal object like screws, bolts, needles, pins. You don’t have to get down on your hands and knees to find those lost objects. We both like that it is not heavy to hold. Looks like a skinny flashlight. You could keep it in a tool box, get one for the car. Would make a great gift for husbands.” — Kathy Bartholomew
“Like the magnet part. Im always dropping a washer or bolt where its hard to get to. The magnet makes it alot easier to retrieve. I also stick it to my tool box, where its easy to find when needed. The light is bright enough to look for items too. Would recommed this product.” — Jeep
“Obviously a good pick for mechanics, however home use is good too. Examples: 1) sewing needles & stick pins laying on a flat surface where a couple of try’s with fingers is challenging. 2) Jewelry clasps, such as earring backings are easily retrievable in a pinch. 3) Something metal that fell under furniture, refrigerator or clothes washer/dryer; under heavy, hard to move objects with items underneath/behind that are hard to fish for blindly.” — Richard Anderson
“This is a really useful magnetic light – the magnet is a ring around the light – so when you’re trying to pick something up – you can see it! I love the light. It is telescoping – so you lengthens as you need. A terrific gift – or tool for the tool drawer! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. “I bought this on sale after following the prices since before Christmas. The flashlight arrived earlier than expected and in nice packaging. I was going to hide it and gift it to him on a special occasion this year but I just couldn’t wait to see what he thought of it. He absolutely loved and his smile said it all. Although the flashlight is small, the magnet is powerful and the light is nice and bright and he tested it right away. It picked up everything metal he hovered over. This little flashlight and magnet combo is well worth the price. I might even get one of my own to help pick up pins in my sewing room when they fall.” — Kerensa
“This is exactly what I needed for retrieving the pins and needles that always escape when I’m sewing. It doesn’t take up much room yet extends to reach out while I’m still seated, the magnet is plenty strong, and the light is a godsend while searching for those escapees (I’d rather find them while I’m working, before my feet do – ouch!). I’ve even used it to retrieve a screw that fell into the works of my machine.” — JoAnne
