It’s definitely wintertime, so if you’re chilly and sniffly this week, we found a small, easy-to-handle air purifier that not only acts as a heater, but also works as a cool-air fan. In other words, this baby is a year-round appliance you won’t have to stow away as the seasons change. This three-in-one Shark is a great alternative to the HuffPost reader-favorite Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP10, serving as a space heater, purifier and tower fan fit for living rooms and office spaces alike. And according to one reviewer, “This Shark does everything a Dyson would do for [an] extremely lower price.”
Lucky for you, today it’s even more affordable. Right now, you can nab the Shark HC451 on sale for under $150. Our price trackers indicate that this product is usually $399.99, but the dark gray model is only $149.99, or 63% off list price. But you’ll have to grab it quickly, because we’re not sure how long this deal will last!
This three-in-one can clean the air in spaces up to 500 square feet, with four purifying speeds and a HEPA filter to catch all the smallest dust particles. Set it to auto and it’ll adjust its fan speeds as needed to rid any airborne smoke or odors. You can turn on the heater or fan to blow warm or cool clean air your way, plus its display shows how clean the air is in real-time. Several reviewers say it’s super quiet and works exceptionally well as a heater and purifier. It also comes with a remote so no manual adjustments are needed.
Take note that the lowest-priced model is dark gray, but the black is also on sale for $199.99.

“We purchased this a week ago and have enjoyed it. This shark does everything a dyson would do for a extremely lower price. The only negative is the size. The shark is much taller/heavier which makes it harder to move from room to room. For the price difference this means nothing personally.” — melissa
“This is actually a really good product. It works great as an air purifier and it is a AMAZING space heater. It’s pretty quiet, i hardly notice it and I have sensitive ears. I love that it comes with a remote so I don’t have to get up to change the temperature, etc. All in all i do recommend.” — Candy
“HC452 Shark 3-in-1 Air Purifiers I slept so well. I woke up feeling refreshed and with no headache upon awakening, for the first time in a long time. The Air Purifier was on all night and it stayed warm in my home, I didn’t have to turn my heater on in the morning like I usually do since the temperatures have been in the low 30s. The Shark 3-in-1 Air Purifier is fantastic!” — Sandy
“This thing is great! I got it for a 8×12 room that doesn’t have its own vent. For some reason it stays cool in the summer but winter it’s freezing so this solved 2 things. Air flow when it’s a little too warm and heat all winter, plus it cleans the air. I can see this being able to heat a larger room as it doesn’t run very long to get up to temperature. It’s very quiet, and the remove is nice and attaches easily to the top so you don’t lose it. I’ve been running it 24 hours a day on different settings for 2 months straight and have zero complaints.” — Someone
“This is a must have I actually bought more !!! This has really helped my heating and air-conditioned bills out !!! It circulating is perfect for the whole room or if you just need it on you you can stop it from rotation. The air is cool when you need it and warm when you need it !! I live the heated option because when my nephews come in from the pool I can turn it on for them LOL Or in the winter after playing in the snow I can have it ready with hot coco for them !! Even on rainy days it’s perfect I just absolutely love it . Or if you want to get a bathroom nice and toasty for soaking spa experience it’s perfect for that too . Or if your racking leaves in the fall and you have a sunroom you can use this so you don’t have to keep running in and out . I also love the settings 1 to 6 it really blows out alot of air !!! So much so that it can even dry your hair if you want it too LOL I love waking up and seeing the 100! Blue circle knowing all night long I have breathed the best air possible and I don’t wake up all stuffed like I used too and no more headaches either !!! This is why I have one in every room now !!! It’s definitely an investment but we’ll worth it !!! Even fixes the air in the kitchen when you accidentally burn something it quickly cleansing the air and you can watch it go from red circles or yellow circles back to blue circles providing clean air again.” — Kimberly
