Everybody knows it’s best to use proprietary Apple products to charge their Apple devices (or so says the company) when maintaining optimal battery life. However, that doesn’t stop some users from resorting to off-brand options — like the HuffPost reader-favorite 3-in-1 charger design — to save a few coins. But today, I’ve found a good deal for Apple purists and non-purists alike: the official Apple MagSafe charger is only $33 on Amazon right now.
This little gadget has a 1-meter-long cord and wirelessly charges those pocketable Apple devices (with the exception of the AirPods 4) just by setting it on its dock. Although our usual threshold for deals is a price drop that’s least 15% off, it’s vital to know that this is the first time we’ve seen this Apple MagSafe charger on sale and fully stocked for purchase. In other words, these usually sell out quick, so hop to it!
Several users say the Apple MagSafe charger provides fast wireless charging and its magnetic backing ensures that Apple products snap into alignment when docked. It’s not bulky, either; this is just a 1-meter cord that can plug into your MacBook or a USB-C port and a small charging hub fit for iPhone 12 up to the latest iPhone 16 and any Apple AirPods with charging cases, excluding the AirPods 4. The MagSafe Charger charges up to 15W when paired with a 20W power adapter.
“Ordered back in 2021 and still going strong! Strong magnet, fast charging, and doesn’t need constant replacing because of the end piece bending or breaking from the constant in and out from the phone’s port. It easily attaches to the back and then u slide it off when done resulting in minimal wear and tear. LOVE this charger!!!” — genah81
“Best chargers I’ve had. I bought 2 chargers 4+ years ago and they work perfectly, not one complain. I’ve had many other chargers, they didn’t last and broke constantly, but this one works like new. I’m an iPhone user.” — Jorge N.
“This is by far the best charger and the only one I will use of this kind! I bought a off brand one right before this that would get so hot it burned my fingers n the cord that went into the block omg so hot!! It wouldn’t charge was nuts so I sent that back n said yah know what I’ma just go w apple!!! N I got a used one for cheeped but still came as new and it’s the best havnt had any issues does get warm on the magnet it self but that’s normal but not heat from cord or block doesn’t come w block tho so even it being mine n not an apple block it works amazingly! Now let’s talk charging time… I’m not if it’s just normal for it to charge at a lower speed then a reg cord charger would but it does… oh well it works and that’s all that matters! I also would like to put out the reason why we got one cause maybe it will help someone that may not have thought about this idea!! Soooo my son plays games n so his phone sits sideways n because it dies quicker while playing the games or I should say game lol we always have it on the charger n so how he was holding it sideways with the charger in he ended up pushing the charger port forward so then it wouldn’t charge correctly we had to have it at a slant n was a pain n the butt so I saw this MagSafe charger and a case n I was blown away where had I been under a rock lol anyways instead of getting a new phone or paying for a new port to b out in that w cost more then the phone where I live !!! This saved his phone now he can charge while playing and not playing !! And I get to save my pocket from buying a new one for a few more years! Highly recommend! Don’t go off brand stick w apple!!” — Samantha
“This was my second purchase of this product, and is among the best chargers for your iPhone that has MagSafe built in. Keep in mind it is only the cord, you still need to purchase a USB-C AC wall plug or plug it into another third-party AC plug with a USB-C charging port. The disc magnetizes strongly to the back of the phone through my clear Pelican brand phone case. It adheres so strongly that you often need 1 hand to hold down the cord to break the magnetic hold or push the disc to the left or right off the back. With Apple’s software that optimizes your battery charging on the iPhone I feel this charger works better at integrating with that feature than other 3rd party contactless wireless chargers I own from Belkin and Anker. If there are cases/holders available that hold this charging disc down you may consider buying one of those if your hand strength is impaired.” — Jay
