I spoke to Jim Mora on Radio New Zealand’s Sunday Morning to answer some surprising questions about dogs and cats.

I chatted with Jim Mora on RNZ’s Sunday Morning and answered questions that address some common myths about dogs and cats as well as about some surprising behaviours.
You can listen to the recording here.
Amongst other things, we talked about:
- Understanding dogs’ tail wags and whether they wag to the left or right
- How breed is not the only determinant of dog behaviour
- Whether cats can be therapy cats (and what kind of cat is best for this role)
- Why a cat’s purr doesn’t always mean they are happy
- Why dogs eat poo
And more (Jim got the sensational question out of the way first!).
I’ve been on this show several times and you might also enjoy previous recordings, in which I answer many common questions about dogs and cats.
