Dyson is typically known as the gold standard brand for home tech products, but we found a cordless stick vacuum that so many are saying is a solid contender to the sought-after brand’s vacuums. The Shark Pet cordless stick vacuum allegedly “better than a Dyson,” and several reviewers have been happily switching to this Shark for a fraction of the lux brand’s pricing. It’s got comparable features to the high-priced alternative — an LED light to spotlight and better see dirt and debris, an anti-tangle brush, up to 40 minutes of battery life and plenty of swappable attachments to make sucking dust from any crevice easy. And this value gets even cheaper today, because right now, you can nab it at over 42% off or over $100 off its typical price of $259.99. But hurry, because this deal won’t last long!
This lightweight vacuum cleaner is easy to lift, store and use, with a trigger that instantly sucks up debris and plenty of power to pull even the most stubborn stuck-on dog hairs. It has attachments that let you reach in the crevices of sofas, a brush head compatible with hard surfaces and carpets alike plus a wall attachment for cleaning hard-to-reach areas and ceilings. It also has a swivel head that can reach underneath sofas without squatting or bending over. Detach its canister head from the stick, and you’ve got a handheld vacuum to use in your car, couch or chair!
Another thing about this vacuum? It’s actually fun to use. “Since getting this vacuum, I am not kidding, I have vacuumed more in the past year than I have the rest of my adult life,” raves one reviewer. “We keep this near the kitchen within easy reach and eyesight, and it’s small enough not to be in the way. We also have carpeted stairs, which were the worst to have to deal with — both mentally and literally — and now I vacuum them regularly just because it’s so easy.”
If you’re looking for that supreme Dyson-killer or a lower-cost alternative that won’t hurt your pockets, consider grabbing this Shark while it’s over $100 today. And read on for more promising reviews from other fans of this cordless cleaning wonder!
“I recently switched from my Dyson V8 Animal to the Shark Anti-Allergen Cordless Stick Vacuum, and I’m pleasantly surprised by its performance! The vacuum picks up pet hair effortlessly, and the light feature is a fantastic addition—it helps me find hidden dust and fur. My favorite attachment is the one you can use on furniture. It works well on both my hardwood floors and area rugs. My only complaint is that it doesn’t stand up on it’s own, you either have to prop it up to something or detach the handle and latch it onto the bottom stick piece. Overall, a great choice for pet owners!” — Matthew Reeves
“[…] I cannot recommend it enough and it is absolutely worth making the switch. My partner and I both have depression and ADHD which makes it very hard for us to find the motivation to clean. Since getting this vacuum I am not kidding, I have vacuumed more in the past year than I have the rest of my adult life (I’m 32! Yes, this is embarrassing!). We keep this near the kitchen within easy reach and eye sight, and it’s small enough not to be in the way. We also have carpeted stairs which were the worst to have to deal with – both mentally and literally – and now I vacuum them regularly just because it’s so easy. We have had multiple full size/traditional “pet” specific vacuums before and this specific model has equal or better suction power and is so much more convenient than all of them. And it fits under the couch!” — June (This review has been edited for length. Read the full review.)
“This Shark is a dream! It vacuums well in flooring and carpet, has great, consistent suction, is easy to maneuver, and even my kids love using it! Vacuum holds a charge for a long time – I can get my whole house vacuumed and still have a charge. Easily converted to the dust buster to clean my car too! Picks up all the “chunks” off the floor. Highly recommend!” — daisycake
“[…] This is exactly what we needed and I would foresee getting a few years or more life out of this vacuum. Versatile enough to be used on hard flooring, carpet, and automobiles or more. It comes at a very reasonable price point considering the quality and the brand reputation. I would think that for pet owners with hard flooring this would work great for most pet situations. The functionality is as promised and I like the weight and feel of it overall. I’m very happy with this purchase.” —U’s Reviews (This review has been edited for length. Read the full review.)
“This one works better than my Dyson highly recommend this vacuum I bought several floor cleaning products from Amazon The robot, vacuuming mop, and the upright vacuum and mop by timeco I used to buy the insurance for my products Don’t waste your money they have you use the manufacturer warranty that’s on your product comes with Anyways, so when you have a problem, you have to go to the manufacturer for help you buy the Amazon insurance for two years. Your product has a two-year warranty, which they make you go to if anything goes wrong with your product.” — Nancy Higuchi111
